Boarding and Daycare

We are proud to offer boarding and daycare services! All pets visiting our hospital for boarding or daycare must have updated vaccine records, a negative fecal test, and must have been seen by a
veterinarian in the last year.

Boarding For Cats

Cats have private play time in our catio, separate from all dog areas of the hospital, with screened windows that allow them to look outside. Their boarding kennels are also separate from the dogs. This is a comfortable, stress-free area of the clinic just for cats.

Boarding For Dogs

We have four different boarding suites-medium, large, x-large, and penthouse. All runs lead to the fenced-in backyard where they have individual supervised play time several times a day, always supervised by one of our Animal Attendants.

Boarding pets have the option to eat food from home or a well-balanced diet, that we carry in the hospital for an additional fee of $2.00/Day.

We will administer medications to our boarding patients while they are with us. These are administered at no extra cost to the owner. Except for injections needed outside of normal VCMB business hours. Medication refills are an option for you with VCMB refill charges.

A Boarding Report Card outlining your pet’s stay is provided to you at discharge, this includes any physical examination findings made by our doctors, the pet’s temperament, eating habits, and overall disposition during their stay.

We also offer long-term boarding. Long-term boarding is defined as any overnight boarding stay that exceeds 15 nights. Contact us to learn more!

Daycare

Some pets are lonely hearts. When you leave the house for extended periods of time, they may become anxious and destructive, causing damage to not only your home but themselves. We are proud to offer
state-of-the-art pet boarding and daycare facilities. Our dog daycare gives pets a safe, fun environment to relax and enjoy personal attention while their owners are busy or away- whether for a day or more!

At our daycare, pets can revel in a social, playful environment and forget all their worries: Our facility includes:

• A large, outdoor area for running and frolicking
• Indoor play room for rainy days
• A variety of sleeping quarters for dogs comfortable in kennels, beds, cots, etc
• Heat and air-conditioning
• Seamless floors and special walls that help keep our facility clean and healthy

Our staff includes veterinarians, veterinary technicians, dog walkers, and more…so your pet has plenty of attention—both for play, or medical care if needed.

Things To Keep In Mind

We are proud to offer boarding and daycare for existing and new clients. Before you can bring your pet to us, we have a few requests. Firstly, you’ll have to register your dog with us before you can bring them in for boarding or daycare. Secondly, your dog must be up to date on all vaccinations—for not only their health, but the health of our other guests and team members.
