Euthanasia and Cremation/Grief and Loss Support

One of the most difficult times in a person’s life will be when it becomes time to say goodbye to a dearly loved pet and family member. During this sad time, we will treat you and your pet with the utmost compassion, care, and love. All of us at the Veterinary Clinic have been through this experience personally, and know how emotionally hard it is on a person and a family.

We provide Quality of Life consultations for you and your family members and are available to offer helpful advice at any time during this end-of-life process.

Planned euthanasia is performed in the clinic during the quiet hours of the day in our specially designed Comfort Room which allows you, your pet, and your family, privacy and time to grieve in a calm and comfortable space. We make every effort to ensure that the passing of your pet is peaceful.

You may elect to have your pet cremated with his or her ashes returned to you in a pretty wooden box. Our cremation service cares for our patients with respect and kindness after death and makes sure that their ashes are returned in a timely manner. We will also make a clay paw-print for you, commemorating the life of your companion and friend.
