Whenever it is in the patient’s best interest, we will recommend referral to the Veterinary Specialty Care Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, SC, a 1-hour drive south of Myrtle Beach toward Charleston, SC.

Specialists in different disciplines of veterinary medicine and surgery have become Board Certified in their field after an additional 4-5 years of training, following Veterinary College.
If your pet is in need of specialty care, we make the referral to one of the Board-Certified doctors in Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Surgery, and Ophthalmology.
Our hospital shares a great relationship with the doctors and staff at VSC and together we work hard to ensure your pet receives the best of care.

After our regular business hours, and on Holidays, we refer our clients and patients to the Animal Emergency Hospital in Myrtle Beach, located on Highway 501 and Grissom Pkwy.

After our patients receive the medical care they need from the Emergency Hospital, the client and patient are transferred back to our clinic the next day for any further, or ongoing care needed.
