Dr. Britney Neal

Dr. Britney Neal grew up in a small town in North Louisiana. She obtained a Bachelor of Animal Science degree at Louisiana Tech University. During her time in undergrad, Dr. Neal cared for the university’s live mascot, a handsome bulldog, and worked on LA Tech Farm caring for pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, donkeys, and barn cats. During this time, she also worked at a small animal clinic, where she found her calling for small animal medicine. Dr. Neal attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine where she discovered her love for client education, soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and feline medicine (she loves her canine patients as well).

Dr. Neal’s goal is to provide high quality medical care and to create a safe and comfortable environment for her patients and their families. She also wants to create an emphasis on open communication and making pet parents feel understood and heard. Dr. Neal enjoys mentoring those in the veterinary medicine field, while also continuing to learn herself.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Neal enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs and two orange cats. She loves cats, Harry Potter, travel, and anything Taylor Swift. While Dr. Neal is not native to the area, she is excited to explore and take in all the East Coast has to offer.
