Dr. Vivian Da Rosa Ghiorzi


Dr. Vivian Ghiorzi was born and raised in Brazil, and had the opportunity to spend her high school years in Paris, France. She graduated from Veterinary School at Santa Catarina State University (UDESC, Santa Catarina, Brazil) in 2006. She then completed a Small Animal Internal Medicine, Anesthesia and Surgery Residency at Lutheran University of Brazil (ULBRA, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil) in 2009. She came to this country in April 2009 for an externship, hoping to specialize even more in surgery (a special interest), and has validated her diploma through the ECFVG program. She practiced Veterinary Medicine for a little over 8 years in Albany, GA, before moving to Myrtle Beach, SC in August 2017.

Dr. Vivian is passionate for Veterinary Medicine, and has particular interests in Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery and Integrative Medicine combining Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal supplements. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s of Science program in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). Aside from working full time at VCMB, she is also a Teaching Assistant at the Chi University Acupuncture Course in Reddick, FL.

When not working, Dr. Vivian enjoys spending time with her family, which includes 5 dogs (Natalie, Bob Thomas, Mary Jane, Oliver, and Rusty) , 3 cats (Forrest, Sebastian and Noodle), and 12 orchids, reading while listening to the ocean waves, and attending music concerts.
