Greg Shaffer

Greg started with VCMB in August of 2024. He has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician from Bel-Rea in Colorado since 2011. Greg grew up in VA where he started his journey in Vet Med. After getting his license he moved to Washington State where he practiced mainly in Emergency and Specialty medicine. Greg gravitates to complex medicine cases but is excited to be back in General Practice again! He is thrilled to be back in the East coast where he can apply his skill and knowledge to helping animals in need. Outside of work you can find Greg learning to hunt, riding his motorcycle, going fishing, working on fixing his house and loving to do tinkering projects. Greg’s favorite thing about Vet Med is being an advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves. His favorite thing about working at VCMB is the welcoming staff that are always willing to help and treat him like family! Be sure to welcome Greg to the team next time you are in!
