Wendy Price

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Wendy graduated with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology from Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, VA in 2004. After passing her National Veterinary Technology Board, Wendy was licensed and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to work as the only vet tech for the Little Rock Zoo. She was at the zoo for three and a half years before deciding to move back to Virginia to be closer to the family at her home clinic. Wendy worked at Animal Medical
Center in Danville, VA for many years in one capacity or another starting in high school as a volunteer and progressing to a Licensed Veterinary Technician through March of 2020. Wendy is originally from Danville, VA and
her family still lives there but vacations often to visit her at the beach. She is very much a cat person and seems to speak their language, but she also enjoys her canine patients as well. Wendy and her husband currently reside in Longs, SC with their four cats, Rough Collie Murray and Moyen Poodle Bella. Wendy loves all types of crafting. She also expresses her artistic talents in grooming her poodle. Wendy came to VCMB in April 2020 after relocating from Virginia. She loves her new beach home and clinic family.
